    Big Bear Pop-Up Picnic

    Big Bear Pop-Up Picnic is a dog-friendly activity hosted by Big Bear's original picnic queen. Fido is welcome to join you for a gourmet picnic in a scenic location hidden in the wilderness. The picnic guru will bring you to the gorgeous setting via an air conditioned SUV. Your pro will also take as many photos of you, your group, and furry BFF as desired. You'll learn about the history of the Big Bear Valley, then you'll have privacy to enjoy your picnic. Most diets and food allergy substitutions can be accommodated. Visit Website

      Scenic swimming ops for my pup

      I booked this experience after following Amber on Instagram. I saw videos of her dog swimming in these hidden lpine lakes and my dog absolutely loves to swim so I was dying to go on this springtime Jeep tour! The forest tour was so unbelievably beautiful and we didn't see a single other person at any of the lakes or ponds that we stopped at. My dog was having the time of his life. I read all her information ahead of time and totally understood that she did charge a $15 cleaning fee for dogs that shed, which I'm totally okay with because I know that my golden retriever makes a giant mess. I was just thrilled to find somebody that would actually take me to this hidden locals only spot without having to get my vehicle muddy on muddy and snowy back roads of the forest. This was such a fun dog-friendly experience and we got so many amazing photos.

      Scenic Jeep tour with my pup

      This was our first time visiting Big Bear from Texas. Booking the Jeep tour was the perfect way to see the very best of Big Bear and so awesome that dogs are included in this experience! Our guide was even able to take us to some snow from my pup to play in. He had never experienced snow before and it was absolutely awesome.
      I paid extra for the homemade sweet potato dog treats. I really appreciated that our host baked them with high quality ingredients and my pup absolutely loved them.
      This is truly the best way to see the wilderness of Big Bear without getting your own vehicle dirty or in trouble on dirt roads.

      Amazing experience!

      I booked this, okay mainly just to take photos of my pup for her IG. OMG was this a Insta-worthy location! Got so many great pics of my pup and I at this scenic spot. I laid extra for the more gourmet lunch selection. The Curried Chicken Salad was SO good. I will book again with The Hungry Mountaineer next time I'm in Big Bear.
