When we visited Big Bear last week, there was no snow but this local hiking guide knew where the snow was!
My huskies had the best time and it was so worth it to find a hidden snow spot where they could safely go off-leash. We come from L.A. and the trails are FULL of other people. We didn't even see another person this entire hike!

We did a great little hike with lake views I never would have found on my own. I really appreciated our tour guide taking us to such a off the beaten path spot where we didn't run into anyone else with dogs. We are looking forward to going back and doing another hike with the Hungry Mountaineer in May when the wildflowers start!

I booked this, okay mainly just to take photos of my pup for her IG. OMG was this a Insta-worthy location! Got so many great pics of my pup and I at this scenic spot. I laid extra for the more gourmet lunch selection. The Curried Chicken Salad was SO good. I will book again with The Hungry Mountaineer next time I'm in Big Bear.
