The dog park is located on the north side of the state park and has three fenced play areas without size restrictions. Platoon Run boasts 3.6 acres with large shade trees, a water station, benches, waste stations, agility equipment, a shelter, and even a fireplace. Herrin Hill is a 1.3-acre play area that is mostly open with shade, a water station, benches, and waste stations. We purchased a 7-day pass for this park since we were visiting from Ohio. Amazing place and a must do if traveling near Indy.
