Not the best but not the worst

First off this park is a little hard to find, it’s to the right of the entrance but there’s no signs. While we were there for 30 minutes we witnessed 3 separate aggressive dogs, none bothered us but we saw the almost fights and a man pulling a dog by its tail to get it off of his dog. Also the amount of goose poop and dog poop on the ground was crazy. Other than that my dog enjoyed the water and was happy to stretch his legs with a run. He did need a bath when we got home due to the smelly water he played in. We would only go back if in the area and if there was a few people in the park, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

    Pawtastic Park

Good dog park with lots of benches and shady areas. It can become crowded but it’s big enough to let nervous dogs escape the noise. However, if your dog loves water expect them to get wet!

People were friendly and I felt safe while visiting. The canal acts as a natural fencing (with actual fences in the areas that your dog could escape). They also have separate spaces for those wanting one-on-one time with their pups.

    2 Paws Up

While on a road trip, we traveled through Boise and stopped at this amazing dog park. Lots of green space to run and explore, ponds for swimming, poop bags, benches, and a gazebo. Plenty of parking for cars and space for small RVs.
