Fort Needham Memorial Park
Fort Needham Memorial Park in Halifax, NS is pet friendly. Located at one of the highest points in the area, visitors will discover epic views of Halifax and the beautiful harbor below from this pretty park. The memorial park was originally built in the 1950’s to commemorate a devastating 1917 explosion in the neighborhood. Leashed dogs are welcome on the park's paved trails and pups with good recall can play fetch at the grassy off-leash dog area.
