    Fun Saturday

I took my Furbaby to this park and she had a ball. it was her first time off leash in the water and she did so well. Dogs of all sizes were there and she got to enjoy herself. It is a very big open space and the other dog owners were nice. Definitely taking Bay again.

Great Park But Watch Your Little Dogs

Our dogs had a great time at the park today. We are visiting from out of town and after 16 hours in the car our pups deserves some off leash time. We have 2 bigs and 3 littles! Our bigs loved the water and exploring the park. Our littles had fun too but were desperate to go play with the bigs. The gate at the front is not chain link and our littlest guy (5pound chi) was about to slip out thru the rails. Luckily he just went over to play with the bigs and not towards the road! Great park besides that.

    Nice Dog Park

Clean park, parking is terrible, not enough grass it’s mostly dirt and mud so expect your dog to get dirty. There is a hose to rinse off your pets if need be. The lake can be really clean but can also be gross and green and smell like crap so catch it on a good day and your dog will love it. Plenty of trees and shade. Only other issue is the small dog section is a tiny chain link fenced area that has a small patch of grass. Which sucks considering the park itself is a decent size with an odd verity of terrain from small ledges to small hills and a pond to enjoy.

    My dog Loved It!

The park was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. My dogged loved going in the water (first time too). The only thing is that he drank so much of the water that he had diarrhea for two days. After that he was fine. I am taking him again.

    Oodles of Fun!

So, this amazing park is five minutes away from my house and my fur babies and I love to visit as often as we'd like! The park is safe and enclosed by sturdy fences with dual gates upon entering and exiting the park. The people there are MOSTLY friendly and love dogs as much as you do. There will sometimes be that one rude, crazy dog owner but hey that's people for you. (That's why I stick with dogs.) The water fountains for you and your pets are in working order and I love that they have multiple pick-up stations if you forgot to bring your poop bags. The scenery is gorgeous and the walkway around the park is very relaxing to stroll around for me and my dog. Interesting enough, there is a fenced in area for the smaller dogs that I suspect is safer for them to be off-leash so they don't get trampled over. Although it's a small area I feel that owners can make the most of it if they bring lots of squeaky toys and there is more than one small breed dog to chase around in there. Now, onto my BIGGEST reason for this review's lack of five stars: THE LAKE. Yes, the pretty mass of water appears to be a great idea to let your pooch swim and fetch things in but everyone seems to forget what happens to a body of water that is STILL. Let me spell it out for you: B-A-C-T-E-R-I-A. Because there is no water flow or filter (there used to be water shooting up from the middle of the lake but that broke some time ago) bad bacteria has increased tenfold! This water is dirty and entering your dog's eyes, ears and mouth only for you to touch and contaminate yourself too. Unfortunately, I know a few dogs that have received yeast-infection or fungus on their skin that made such a bad smell the owners had to shave their dog and get vet prescribed shampoo from this notorious lake. There was even one dog that was rumored to have gotten distemper from this source. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!! These are small chances for your dog to get sick from but is it worth the risk?

    Not that great

It's a beautiful dog park with lots of tree's and climbing area. The lake is alright sometimes. They clean it every once in a while but it's usually green and smells. The biggest probkem with this dog park is the fact that smaller dogs can't enjoy the park as much as big dogs, and ghe fact that most of the people at the dog park are snobby and like to talk behind peoples back even when they don't know you. People at the dog park like to act as if they own the place. Not a fun enviornment for you or you're dog when people do that.

    Needs to be maintained.

This park has potential but is in desperate need of maintenance. Most of the grass is dirt now, the small dog side is very small especially compared to the rest of the park. The water fountains were dry last time we visited.

    Had a Blast!!!!

Great park. People are very friendly & dogs too. Well kept and well gated. If your dog loves to swim this is the spot. My GSPs didn't want to leave & wanted to keep swimming. Fun filled laughs & happy environment

    Great ,but not for everyone

I take my medium sized dog there all the time. She's still a bit afraid of the lake, but she's getting closer and closer to jumping in! This is an awesome place for your dog to swim, they have hoses so you can wash your dog before you leave. The only two things wrong with this place is that they do have a small dog separating section, but it's super tiny and has no access to the lake, and one time I brought snacks there, and it was a horrible idea. I was bombarded by huge slobbery dogs. This does not happen at the other dog park I take my dog to.

    Perfect for swimming dogs

This park is our absolute favorite. It's not the closest one to home, but the drive is worth it. Our 1 yr old black lab mix loves to run this park and even swim in the filtered pond. Also, this park is has wonderful visitors! Great place to make friends with fellow dog lovers.
