The Minnehaha Off-Leash Dog Park in Minneapolis, MN spans more than six acres and features a doggy beach to let your pup roam, socialize, splash and play. AMAZING PARK!
This is the best dog park I've ever been to! The paths are wide and shady and have lots of places along the path for the dogs to explore. Lots of room to hike and explore! Then there is a LONG stretch of beach along the Mississippi River for the dogs to explore and hop into the water. It's absolutely beautiful! In the winter time the dogs play in the snow. Fall is just beautiful!
Yes, you are suppose to have a permit. If you are a visitor you can buy one on your phone if a park ranger is there looking for your license. Residents pay a little bit more for an annual pass. Well worth it! There are some stairs at the beginning so might not be stroller or wheelchair friendly.
