1000 Steps Beach

Our pup loved 1000 Steps Beach. He isn’t ready for off leash activities yet so we went left after the 150-ish steps (which are usually wet and a little slippery so be prepared) with a long lead and he enjoyed himself very much. We went in the morning as the hide tide was starting to go out and there was not a ton of beach to work with so I recommend checking and going at low tide. We ended up walking from 1000 Steps to the stairs to Shoreline Steps for a nice loop. Met a few friendly dogs along the way but for the most part, it was pretty quiet. Would go again!

Access beach below using 1,000 steps park. Its only actually 157 stairs. Leashed dogs allowed on stairs. Off leash on beach to the RIGHT of the stairs. If the tide cooperates you can walk the mile or more to Hendrys beach. Exceptionally limited street parking (free). No restrooms or drinking water. No shade.
