  Great walking park

  great park to allow both humans and dogs to stretch the legs. woodchip walking path circles large grassy knoll and wooded area. fun trails in and out of brush allows dogs to explore in this large off leash park. also has fresh water fountain for water pit stops when doing laps!

  Nice Pup Stop When Traveling Through Kansas City, MO

  This was a nice off-leash dog park a few mikes off of I71 when driving through Kansas City, MO. The large dog side has some great hills and wooded areas for the dogs to run and play. There was a kid’s play pool filled up for the pups to cool off. Also has a working human and dog fountain, bowls set out, and a hose. Dog waste bags are available. Secure area. Would definitely stop by again when here with my dogs.

  I’ve never had a bad experience here. People are nice and actually monitor their pets!!!

  Beautiful But For The Humans

  Great space for doggie running! There is a big hill and some shady trees for exploring. Close to the incredible Swope Park. Unfortunately we encountered inattentive owners who did not move to control their non-neutered dogs. We left before we wanted to. We will give it another try next time we are in KC.

  Great park

  Beautiful, clean park. The big dog side has a steep, grassy hill that drops off shortly after the entrace. It's great for the dogs to run up and down as you can tire them out twice as fast! The forested area behind the field is lovely, as well. Definitely glad we found this place!

  beautiful park

  We stopped by Swope Park, while driving cross country. My american Bulldog needed to get off the car and get some exercise. The park is really big and clean. He got to run around and play with other dogs before heading to Denver.

  Very spacious, separate areas for large/small dogs

  A more accurate address for this park is 5176 E Gregory Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132. This park is very unique and has lots and lots of space for big dogs, hills, trees and also an area for small dogs. I'm not sure why there is no watering station on the small dog side, but hopefully that will come with time. This is still a bit of a drive from Waldo, but much closer than Penn Valley off leash park.

  A great area for dogs who need to run

  We visited the Swope Park Dog Park on the grand opening. I am so happy to see a dog park so close to my house that offers room for dogs to run and be themselves. Great space and great area to take your pooch. Love they have a separate area for smaller dogs. My big dog doesn't always know her size!
