    Fenced Dog Park

The dog park is in the very back of the park. Follow the road until it ends. Then WALK to the end of the road. There is a fenced dog park. Dirt (dusty) and tiny wood chips (check for splinters in their paws). Sole shade and benches. Trails, water, restrooms on site. Free parking. Self-service dog wash on site as well ($10).

    Decent size park

The park was ok. Not so green like some of the photos, but we are in a drought. It was a decent size, however the fence was fairly low and my dog could have easily jumped it. Also, a LOT of poison oak in the area so be on the look out. Navigator sent us to the main parking lot where we parked near a trailhead and walked past a gated area to finally arrive at the park.

GPS May send you to the fire road entrance

The directions/gps on Bring Fido will send you to the wrong entrance (private raid-fire exit).
    Instead, search for
    Tuckers Grove Park
    Santa Barbara, CA 93110

Dog park area is at the far end of all the parking lots, through a white gated path. Keep dog on leach until you reach the dog play area.

    Good alternative to Arroyo Burro

Rambunctious puppy for whom Arroyo Burro and its parking lot or the Douglas Reserve with its cliffs don't work well for your puppy off leash, will enjoythis fenced park just past Santa Barbara tothe north. Take Turnpike exit going away from the ocean and it leads straight to the park. Go right in the parking lot to the very end and follow sigs to Kiwanis Meadow. Large fenced park described well in reviews above.

    Meh

The park is great and private, fenced which is nice. Every time I go, just the weirdest group of people...more of a hippy/homeless looking crowd. Just my experience.

    Great Off Leash park

We went to this part every day during our visit to Santa Barbara. It is a lovely park. It has lots of shade and open places to run. The dogs and people are friendly. I would go there again in a minute!!!

Off-leash fenced area now open all day

Beyond the Kiwanis Meadows Group Picnic Area is a nice-sized fenced off-leash area that's open 8 am-sunset. Has a big grassy area, trees for shade, a few picnic tables, watering station, and doggie-doo bags available. Dogs need to stay on-leash from parking area to fenced area. It's lovely and most of the owners are good about cleaning up after their pets.

Newest Addition to Off Leash / Fenced SB Dog Parks

Currently the Kiwanis Meadows is under construction to fence off a portion for an off leash dog park. The trails that lead off the meadows are technically 'on leash', very nice trails. This park is pretty dog friendly all over though.
