    Dog Park

This dog park used to be a great place. Over the past 3 years, the park has deteriorated. Most grass is gone, the gate latches do not work well and my dog can go under the outer gate. Also, aggressive dogs visit and their owners stand and watch them hurt other dogs.

    Not Too Busy

This park isn't usually too busy so it's good for shy dogs. It does get really muddy after it rains though. Like any dog park, keep an eye on your dogs and the other dogs.

    Parking Lot

The dog park has friendly people and most dogs are not aggressive. The parking lot and the dog park is not well maintained. There are HUGE holes in the entrance to the parking lot and the parking lot has many bumps. The grass(?) is not regularly mowed hiding holes in the ground which are a trip hazard for humans and dogs.

    Great open space

This dog park was a great open space, probably about the size of a football field. Everyone, people and dogs, we're friendly and got along. Only complaint is there were A LOT of landmines.

    Dog park review

It's ok. I understand that with so many dogs, it has very little grass and just turns into a big mud hole any time there is the least bit of moisture. I hesitate using it during damp times of year, which means fall, winter, spring. I have found the people to be friendly and most of the dogs ok. Occasionally there is an aggressive dog and an irresponsible owner.

    needs a supervisor!

Brought my dog. Thought it was safe. Only 2 other dogs were there and they pounced on my dog, grabbing him viciously by the throat (this was NOT playing, it was a 'kill' choke hold). The owner of the dog laughed and said, "oh, he must be a dominant one." His dog was 3 times the size of my dog! And the other dog was joining in! This all happened in just a couple seconds. Meanwhile the owners of the other 2 aggressive bigger dogs did NOTHING to stop them from trying to KILL my dog. I had to stop it. These dog parks need some kind of supervision. Just like public swimming pools have lifeguards. No matter what the signs say about "No aggressive dogs allowed, no pit bulls....btw, obviously one of these dogs that attacked mine was a pit bull, you could tell by his physical traits." I had to break it up, yell at the other dogs and quickly grab mine and leave. Still the owners did NOTHING. Did not even apologize or ever call their dogs off my smaller dog. THEY thought it was normal and funny. They need at least surveillance cameras if not human supervision for such careless owners with aggressive dogs.

    Terrific Park

The perfect exercise experience for our dog who had been riding in the car for several days. People and dogs were friendly. We had a great experience.
