    Our regular dog park!

My husband and I have had our 15lb Jack/chi for a little over a year now and he has been going to this park since he was vaccinated and was puppy safe to start socializing. He was very scared and timid at first and mostly stuck by our feet but he became more comfortable as we continued to bring him and now it’s one of his favorite places! He has made lots of friends and gets out so much energy running and playing. I would suggest always keeping an eye on your dog as you never know when they might need you. You don’t want to let your dog be bullied by someone else’s dog whose owner may not be paying attention but I can say at this park people do for the most part pay attention. Most people clean up after their animals like they are supposed to and work together to make sure every dog is having a good time. Very nice and welcoming community to anyone who is a kind and respectful dog owner.

    Amazing dog park

This place has the best amount of area for my Labrador mix to run in. Great place to let your dog get out some energy. I give this place a whopping 5 bones as my dog had a blast as I can see from the drool on her tongue!

Great time but some rude people!

This was my first time to this dog park. My dog is a poodle mix and weights 24 lbs. He is that in between small and medium size dog. He does attended doggie day care several days a week and they put him with the small dogs when he there to socialize. Upon arriving we noticed a large dog in the medium size dog area. I was not comfortable going into that area because of that large dog in there. So, I went into the small size area and about 5 minutes later two men showed up with their small dogs. They came into the area that we were in and quickly came over and began to "bark at us!" Telling us we don't belong here and we felt threatened when he said they will be trouble and that there is a pecking order here. They were very rude and while this was going on his dog was showing sights of being aggressive towards my dog that was laying on the ground wagging his tail. I would have never went into that area if I felt my dog would have put other dogs in harms way.
I wouldn't go back because they made us feel uncomfortable there.

    Safety issues

There are too many irresponsible dog owners and no one is willing to step up when there is an issue with an aggressive dog. Animal care & controll won't come out unless your dog is 1/2 dead and the sheriffs office will just try to tell you that it's not their issue. I saw a tan female pit bull with a pink collar attack 3 different dogs. The owner was an arrogant short young man who tried picking fights as well when other dog owners tried to speak to him. Beautiful park, but unless they have someone who can come out to issue a Trespass Warning, nothing is done about the problem. THIS PARK IS UNSAFE FOR YOUR PETS.

    Really nice park

03/03/14: First time taking my dog to a dog park and she really enjoyed it. The people were very friendly and I didn't see any dog that seemed vicious or mean. There are 3 sections for small, medium and large dogs and there are benches and a pavilion to get some shade. I will definitely be taking my dog back to this park.

    Nice Peiple, Nice Dogs

I found the park to be very nice. It is very large and roomy. There is an area that has a roof and benches so if it begins to shower you can seek shelter there. There were few bald spots that a dog could roll in. There is a large and small dog park fenced in areas. Top Notch.

Great park, watch out for black newfoundland

This park is absolutely wonderful, but if you go and a black newfoundland is there with an older gentleman in his late 60's, beware. The dog can be nice, but also vicious. His owner is unable to control him and he as attacked other dogs. There are two large areas and a gate can be closed between the two. If this dog is at the park, but you do not want to leave, I strongly suggest going to the west park and shutting the gate. The dog attacked my greyhound and the owner was only able to stop him by grabbing his ear (which he only did after I put myself between the two dogs). Unfortunately, incompetent owners can result in dangerous pets.
