    Meticulously kept

At first I was hesitant about paying the non resident annual fee. But after visiting area several (free) dog parks over the past year I’m happy with Windmill. You get what you pay for. A clean well maintained park. Cleaning station, lots of shade, lots of areas to sit. Glad to have found a park that’s not muddy, dusty and unkept. The area parks aren’t kept any where close to Windmill.

    Coconut Creek Dog Parks $$

They charge their residents and treat non-residents worse $$... Not for me.. So I will not sponsor and businesses or services from Coconut Creek. Sorry my choice..

    Brand New and Beautiful

This park just reopened after a long renovation and it is beautiful!! Compared to other parks in the area this park stands apart. It has tons of mature trees and shade which is seriously a must done here. Another great perk is the agility equipment, there are a couple jumps, rings and tunnels which is nice when there aren't other dogs to play with. I understand why some people might be upset about having to pay for the park but I believe the benefits are far higher: All dogs will have their shots, owners will be held accountable for inappropriate behavior and the park is well kept with security on the grounds at all times! The official grand opening is September 15th.

    Greedy

Was a great little friendly dog park but now after being closed for a year and a half for renovations I’m being told I need a membership. $35 for residents and $15 for each additional dog; $70 for non residents $30 for each additional dog. Very disappointed by this greedy decision. I understand a small charge to make sure dogs are up on their vaccinations... maybe $10/$15 per dog but I would have to pay $100 to use the park 3 miles from my house. Unfortunately, I will not be using this park anymore.

    Great!

My grandfather took me and Bear here when we came down to visit over spring break. It was quiet but the dogs that were there were very friendly and well behaved, as well as the owners. The locals had nothing but great things to say and all agreed they had never seen a misbehaved dog there. Everyone shared water and toys and there was a big area for the dogs to play. It was Bear's first dog park experience and he LOVED it! And slept the whole ride back home! ;)
