Seminole Wekiva Trail

The Seminole Wekiva Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Altamonte Springs! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Seminole Wekiva Trail. Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided map data for this trail to Bring Fido for informational purposes only. For more detailed trail information, please visit TrailLink.com. San Sebastián Trailhead

I always park at the San Sebastián trailhead. It’s a paved trail through a mostly residential area with lots of shade. There are poo bags and bins on the trail and at the trailhead. There are bathrooms a short way down the trail at Westmonte Park and at Sanlando Park, a bit more than a mile down the trail. There are picnic tables and a drinking fountain (dog height too) at the trailhead.

    nice rail trail!

A nice paved shaded flat walk through a residential area. The directions however are not exactly correct, please be careful. there appears to have been some recent road construction, the provided directions are not accurate. The actual website might be easier to follow.
