    Not Bad

The trail is an old railroad track that has been converted and paved over. It is well maintained. The pavement is smooth. Grass is cut along the path. It runs behind the back of some not so well kept residential housing. I did not walk the whole trail..just from Coulter out East a couple miles then back. It was pretty vacant on a beautiful Friday afternoon. It doesn't seem to be very popular with the locals. I was in from out of town, so it was great to have some dog walking near my hotel, but other than that, nothing to write home about. Back in Iowa, I'm used to bussling converted rail roadways through beautiful neighboorhoods with mature trees next to the trail. So, I have to compare and say it didn't live up to my expetations. But again, much better than walking by the I-40 traffic by my hotel.
