Panhandle Trail

The Panhandle Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Colliers! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Panhandle Trail. Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided map data for this trail to Bring Fido for informational purposes only. For more detailed trail information, please visit TrailLink.com. Moderately decent enough

Adequately maintained for the most part but have seen broken glass and trash about. Also runs along some neighboring properties which can be loud at times but that is to be expected.

    Awesome Trail

My 4 month old pup and I hit this trail every weekend! The scenery is beautiful, dog owners clean up after their pets, there are some spots where there is access to the creek, and most people are ok if I take my pup off leash while we walk. We love going here to get some exercise in.
