Upper Tampa Bay Trail

The Upper Tampa Bay Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Tampa! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided map data for this trail to Bring Fido for informational purposes only. For more detailed trail information, please visit TrailLink.com. Great place to walk your dog

the original one bone review was only because there were no pics. if you enter the trail from Lutz Lake Fern Road, there is a parking area ($2). The restrooms are very clean. there is a water station and picnic area. there's even a bike repair station. you can walk on a very well maintained path or head off onto one of the side paths. our dog loves walks here. when you park you can go either to the left or right. going to the left will connect you to the Suncoast trail (less shaded) going to the right is where the side paths are located.
