High Line Canal Trail

The High Line Canal Trail at Blackmer Lake in Littleton, CO, is a 4 mile hike that will take about 1 to 2 hours to complete with Fido. This track of land was almost the retirement home of former President Eisenhower, but instead became the home of the Kent Denver Day School. The dog-friendly trail also serves as a maintenance road for the local animal control and the Denver Water Board. Visit Website

    Beautiful place

Just because it’s not a fenced dog park doesn’t warrant a one-bone review. Its a beautiful place to walk your dog and see lots of nature.

    No off lead!

The cops are strictly enforcing the leash law! Forget training or running your dog off lead here. First ticket is $60. Without ID, I had a cop car, dog truck and 2 motorcycles surrounding me!
