Mount Ellinor
Hoodsport, WA, is home to Mount Ellinor in the Olympic National Forest. This 6-mile roundtrip trail is pet friendly and welcomes hikers to bring their pups for the journey. In the spring, most people rush to the top of this path so they can come back down the glissade route. If traveling with Fido, you will want to wait until mid-July to take this route since he won't be able to get any traction in the snow. Come summer time you will want to bring plenty of water along.
