I take my dog on these trails every weekend and he loves it! Lots of new smells every week and very difficult to get turned around on the trail and plenty or rest benches throughout the trail. Great place to stretch your legs and your dogs legs out!

Nice little walk through the park. It's shaded enough to keep cool during the hot hours.

If you're going in the late Spring - early Fall, get to the park early. The first obvious reason is the heat - the trail is mostly open with patches of shade. There were covered benches along the trail where you could stop and have some water and let the dog(s) rest. Bring water - we have two dobes and one of them wore a backpack full of water. The second reason to get there early is because there is only one causeway to the beach and as it gets later traffic gets backed up. There were other activities that we didn't do, but would have liked to have done like kayaking.
