  Attacked dog

  I used to take my dog here everyday. everyone was nice but some people do not pick up after their dogs and don’t watch them. My yellow lab got attacked by a German shepherd once. The owner claimed the dog was not comfortable around other dogs and still brought it to the park :/ .There are a lot of little mud piles when it rains. It’s a big area for dogs to run around in.

  Mixed bag

  Pros - it’s free and open every day.
  Cons - there are many people who bring their dogs there and do not pick up after them or watch them. Several people had said their dogs were still sick after x amount of time and they just wanted them to have fun. Other people have brought their aggressive dogs there and not intervened.

  I’ve been taking my dog to Veteran’s for 3 months now, and he’s only had 3 good experiences there. If the people who went looked after their dogs, this review would have been much more positive.

  Always A Dog Party!

  Our pup loves this park! There are always many dogs. Separated into big and small dog section. Tons of space for pups to run around, hoses to wash off, dog bowls, covered area with picnic table. Everyone has always been friendly and pick up after their dogs. The reason I gave 4/5 is it is mainly dirt and can have puddles. So much fun, but definitely bath day afterwards.

  Walkway is scolding hot

  There is a bridge on the walk to the park and while it’s lightly colored it’s scolding hot in the middle of the day. I couldn’t hold my foot on it longer than 2 seconds. Other than that the park is nice. Just wish they would have warned us.

  Nice Big Area

  Big open area with a nice shaded spot to sit. 75% of the play area is straight up dirt though so be aware of that. Dirt took 1 star away from the rating in an otherwise very nice park.

  Dirty

  The large play area is very big but full of dirt. It would be nice if they would re-sod the area or put mulch down. Also there are large puddles for a week or so after it rains. The small dog area is clean but much smaller in area. Its hard to complain when the park is free.

  Nice Park

  The dog park is located to the right and behind the skate park, a short walk on a secluded path. The park is very big and fenced in, has 2 separate parks for big and small dogs. There is a shady area with 2 picnic tables for you to sit under, and a few small plastic kiddie pools with water & drinking bowls. People were friendly, and dogs were friendly.

  my dogs love this park I do too but you don't want to go after rain because the back of the big dog side becomes a mud pit but other then that it's a very nice park

  Huge fenced area!!

  We are vacationing and found this park. It has a huge fenced area for large dogs and separate area for small dogs. Little pools, balls, water bowls and lots of sticks to chew on. Nice park and very clean.
