    Fun beach

We take our Siberian husky during spring break when off leash hours end at 9am; therefore, we gotta force our night owl selves to be early birds on those days so our pup can have free range on the beach. She likes to drink the salt water so if your Fido does that too, I would recommend a soft muzzle to prevent them from drinking and getting sick. Another thing is that if you start out walking from bridge, there are very few trash cans so you may be stuck carrying the poop bag for a while. We have a poop carrier clip to avoid having to touch it directly. Parking is only like $2 per hour which is a good deal. We love this beach for our husky Freya.

    Nice beach!

This is a nice beach! Dogs are allowed on the whole beach as long as they are leashed. The dogs had fun putting their paws in the water! The beach itself was clean and the sand was soft. Very fun!

    Great spot for pups!

Maple and I have visited Isle of Palms several times. It's a super nice beach and has lots of room for us to walk (especially at low tide). Highly recommend!

Rosco's first trip to the beach

We had a great time at Isle of Palms. It was Rosco's first time seeing the ocean. He really enjoyed running in the water and jumping over waves. The beach patrol officers were nice. They passed early and waved. Later, after the off leash time was over, they stopped to say hello. We will definitely go back.

    Perfect day

Had an absolutely perfect day at the beach. My dog does not like other dogs, but this beach was great! Dogs are always allowed but there are specific times they are allowed off leash. Since I don’t trust him around other animals, being on leash was perfect for us. The beach was very clean and really quite (when you consider the amount of people that were on the beach). People were very friendly and the kids were very well behaved. I will be coming here in the future when I need a dog friendly beach.

    Nice beach

We visited this beach for an hour. Its clean and big. Leash law is in effect after 9am from April 1st. We were there in the afternoon so I brought long leash so he can go to the water without me. It was still cold and windy. Parking is $1.50/hour. Entrance to the beach is between 10th Ave and 14 Ave.

    Great Beach

The dogs love the water so giving them the chance to play in the water just melted my heart. The beach is clean and very few people were there during our visit.

    beautiful beach

My pup loves coming here, though it can get a little crazy if there are families out on the beach. Nice that the city doesn't require licensing. Strict about off leash hours.

    Great

We did not realize how great this beach was until we visited a terrible dog beach in Florida. This beach, by contrast, was huge, clean, and frequented by polite people and dogs.
