Sanford Farm

Sanford Farm is a very popular, dog-friendly walking area in Nantucket, MA, best known for its popularity with walkers, runners, dog owners and bicyclists for its well marked trails, beautiful vistas and ocean views. You might see turtles in season, hawks, osprey, and other wildlife. For dogs who need a lot of exercise, this is a walk where there are long stretches of open path and fields. It’s also a trail on which you could ride your bike while your dog runs alongside you or in a basket. Some years, in the summer months, Hummock Pond has had some algae issues that are hazardous to dogs. DO NOT let your dog drink from the pond. Please note that there are no public restrooms, water fountains nor telephones on this trail. Visit Website
