    A murky, mucky bay beach

We went yesterday. It's not great. Visiting at low tide made for a mucky experience. Then went to Broadkill Beach 20 minutes away. FAR better there.

    No longer allows dogs

Due to some busybodies, beach no longer allows dogs. We were rudely screamed at by a couple to leave. This location no longer should be on this website, sadly...

    Great Beach

Great beach for furbabies! All of the furbabies were on a leash. Their parents were very respectful and didn't allow their furbabies to get too close to others. Can't wait to go back.

    Good Enough

Bower's Beach is a nice, quiet little beach. I went on a Saturday with beautiful weather, and I could see maybe 20-30 other people (and 3-4 dogs) in the few hours I was there. If you plan to wade or swim, you should bring water shoes.

Pet owners kept their dogs to themselves, but I did see a dog poop and the owner not pick it up.

For a quiet, secluded little beach, it's nice, and if you have a dog who loves the water, you can easily sit on the beach while the dog frolics in the water.
