Sachuest Beach Sachuest Beach (locally known as Second Beach) in Middletown, RI is pet friendly with restrictions. From October 1 to April 30, the beach welcomes pups anytime during the day, provided they are leashed. Starting May 1 until September 30, leashed dogs are only allowed on the beach from 5:00 AM to 7:45 AM.
