One of the most popular stories is that of the Pukwedgies, creepy three-foot trolls that wander around bothering visitors, much like Fido. You can explore this stunning and occasionally eerie place on the 50-miles of trails, some of which lead to Profile Rock with a fantastic view of the state's southern coast. Just in case you see a Pukwedgie in their natural habitat, make sure Fido remains on a leash for the duration of their visit and all mess is cleaned up after them.
