Pet Friendly Plum Island Beach
Plum Island Beach Plum Island Beach in Newburyport, MA, is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the beach without a leash from October 15th to May 15th. Unfortunately, pups are never allowed on the Plum Island Refuge. The off- leash section of the beach is by the lighthouse and Captain's Lady. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from May 15th through October 15th. There is a parking fee. The Harbormaster Department manages and operates the Plum Island Point Beach & Parking Lot located on the northern end of the island at 278 Northern Blvd. See Details
Pet Friendly Crane Beach
Crane Beach Crane Beach is a popular dog-friendly beach in Ipswich, MA. Dogs are welcome between October 1 and March 31 and must remain leashed at all times. Access is free for members and there is a nominal fee for non-members. Advance passes are highly recommended due to the popularity of this beach. Please note that dogs are not allowed on Steep Hill Beach, the trails, or in the dunes. See Details
Singing Beach Known for sand that makes a noise when walked on dry, Singing Beach welcomes licensed and vaccinated dogs from October 15 through April 14. There is a $5 per person walk-on fee charged from 9am to 5pm when the staff is on duty. Owners are asked to clean up after their dogs, keep an eye on them, and maintain verbal control when they are playing off-leash. Each person is allowed to bring two dogs with them to the Beach, and pets must be wearing collars with identification. Wingaersheek Beach Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA is dog-friendly on a seasonal basis. Unleashed dogs allowed on Wingaersheek Beach from October 1st to April 30th annually, only on odd-numbered days. Dogs are prohibited from May 1st to September 30th. During the off-season, this beach is a beautiful sandy spot for Fido with several interesting rock outcropping for curious pups to explore and investigate. See Details

Squantum Point Park The old Naval Air Station has paved paths along the old runways, and one unpaved path, to a beach at the northwest tip of the peninsula. This small beach is 1/2 mile from the parking lot and lies across Dorchester Bay from UMass. There is a leash requirement in the park, but friendly dogs play and swim at the beach when there are no other people there. PLEASE ALWAYS clean up after your dog so that we can continue to use this spot! There are trash barrels but you have to bring your own bag. See Details
