Pécs - Hirdi Kutyastrand Kutyastrand, located in the ancient city of Pécs near the Croatian border, is a picturesque, dog-friendly beach for pets and their owners to enjoy. The banks of the dog beach are lined with shaded picnic benches. All dogs can enjoy the water as it gradually slopes down into the water from the side, and less confident doggy paddlers can make use of the life jackets provided. This new dog beach contains over 8000 square foot of grass with plenty of space for playing and shaded areas for hot dogs to get out of the sun. You'll find a ramp to help dogs get in and out, and there's even a special toilet for dogs to use to keep the water and the surrounding areas clean. This popular summer haunt for dog owners is located next to a cement factory, which doesn't sound very glamorous, but the beach is sandy and very popular among dog owners. The beach is relatively small at 60 meters and 15 meters wide, but still allows your dog to play with other pooches and in the water without the constraints of a leash. IL Santos Baubeach Branding itself as the "first true dog-friendly beach in Southern Italy," IL Santos Baubeach is a space perfect for pups that love the sand and the sea. Dogs can dive and swim along the cliff, run and play off-leash in an enclosed area adjacent to the beach, and access every other area of IL Santos on-leash (even its bar and restaurant). The beach features fresh water dispensers and snacks, and dog specific showers. Dogs of all sizes, registered in the dog registry, in possession of a health certificate, and whose owners have signed the access regulation, are welcome. Tickets include human comforts as well, including enclosed and guarded parking, a super parasol, comfort beds, sunshade, a table with a glasses holder, free wifi, cold water showers, and lawn space. Gwithian Towans Beach Gwithian Beach is pet-friendly. Windsurfers love this spot, as well as visitors flying kites. Dogs are welcome on this beach except between May 1 to September 30 from 8am to 7pm. The seasonal dog ban is in place between Ceres Rock and Red River.
