Posted by Zain Deane

Four-legged foodies are just as deserving of a good meal as their human counterparts, and these pet-friendly restaurants have answered the call by creating specialized dog menus full of gourmet dishes and five-star feasts for hungry hounds to enjoy.

Bask in the beautiful views of Camelback Mountain on Weft & Warp’s dog-friendly patio in Scottsdale. While you’re dining on an 18 oz ribeye or half-roasted chicken, order your hungry hound The Good Dog (a grilled flatiron steak), The Healthy Hound (baked fish), or a grass-fed Bow Wow Burger from the Doggy Menu. Visit for breakfast and Fido can start his day with the Rover Easy, two scrambled eggs. For each canine meal purchased, the restaurant makes a donation to Lucky Dog Rescue.

After dinner, let your meal settle at nearby Sonesta ES Suites Scottsdale. Your pooch will receive a PAWS package with treats, bowls for his leftovers and a pet mat at check-in.

If you’re looking for a five-star dining experience complete with five-bone goodies for your pup, head to Posana in downtown Asheville. The restaurant’s contemporary American cuisine is based on locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, including some truly drool-worthy puppy chow. Your furry foodie can start her feast with four house-made biscuits. For the entree, she can enjoy grilled Joyce Farms chicken served with brown rice. The epic meal ends with a scoop of grilled bacon soy doggie ice cream, washed down with a freshly popped Bowser Beer.

Afterward, your pup can waddle back to Kimpton Hotel Arras and sleep it off in her dog bed.

For years, The Forge has ranked among the most pet-friendly restaurants in the U.S. thanks to features like the Dog Pound Patio. While you enjoy eclectic international cuisine, your pooch will appreciate the no-frills approach to his food. He can snack on Plain Ol’ Kibble or the heartier Hot Diggity Dog, Quarter Hounder or chicken strips. If you really want to spoil him, treat him to a Good Dog grilled and sliced New York steak.

After an incredible meal, enjoy an unforgettable night at one of the most dog-friendly hotels in the country, The Cypress Inn.

360 Cookhouse welcomes pups to join their owners in two heated outdoor areas and offers a truly gourmet and healthy canine menu. Where else can Fido snack on meat sticks, pig’s ears, or a veal-filled hoof, among other goodies? The restaurant also hosts frequent pet-friendly events, including an Adopt a Dog Awareness Day with a local animal shelter.

The rolling green fields of the Irish countryside await guests at Clash-Brack, a nearby pet-friendly vacation rental in Dungarvan.

The Wilson

Pups are in for a treat at The Wilson. The dog menu was inspired by two Bulldogs: the restaurant’s canine mascot and Stella, the four-legged best friend of its culinary director. Four-legged diners can dig into a grilled steak, grilled chicken breast or Wilson’s Burger, all served with steamed vegetables. Then, move onto the “Spa Day'' menu with a variety of pupsicles flavored with pumpkin, banana, peanut butter or coconut yogurt. The healthy list continues with mixed berries, homemade dog biscuits, and sliced apples and cucumbers.

Lie down with your Lab at the nearby Loews Regency New York Hotel, where dogs receive a welcome bag at check-in.

The Nose Dive's pet-friendly patio is a coveted destination in the heart of downtown Greenville's Main Street. Fido will be even more eager to come here after he learns about the dog menu. For his main course, your pooch has a choice of salmon, beef patties, chicken, scrambled eggs, rice & veggies or bacon. And if he has a sweet fang, there's peanut butter ice cream to round out the gourmet canine meal.

Aloft Greenville Downtown is one of the premier pet-friendly hotels in the Upstate. Canine guests can relax in the room in their very own bed or play with toys on the sixth-floor dog run.

Art and Soul in the nation’s capital offers sumptuous platters like the Gravy Train (house-made beef and rice in gravy), Hungry Dawg (grilled and sliced sirloin), and The Raw Deal (frozen beef bone). If your pup has a sweet tooth, she might prefer the peanut-banana pupsicles. It’s a meal fit for a human, but you’ll be happy to leave it to the dogs while you sample dishes like Foie Gras mousse, crab deviled eggs, maple-brined pork loin and Moulard duck breast.

After dinner, Fido won’t have to travel far with a full belly. Art and Soul is located at Yotel Washington D.C. where your pooch can also order one of the delicious meals for in-room dining.

Tokyo is truly a pet-lover’s paradise. Not only are pets treasured members of the family, but they’re also welcome at many businesses around town. And we’re not just talking dogs and cats. Tokyo offers cafes where you can hang out with owls, snakes and even hedgehogs. Of the many dog-friendly eateries in the city, we chose Ushisuke for its tasty human- and canine-friendly menu. This mini chain of yakiniku restaurants serves a smorgasbord of meats and veggies that you grill at your table. There’s also a special menu of rice, veggies and meats for you to cook up for your pooch.

Itos Ebisu is a comfortable Tokyo vacation rental that offers style and comfort, and hardwood floors for easy cleanup.

Moss Beach Distillery

Award-winning coastal cuisine tastes even better when your furry companion is there to enjoy it with you. Moss Beach Distillery’s heated Seal Cove Patio is perched above the Pacific, where sunbathing seals, breaching whales, sweeping views and even dog beds to borrow are on the house. While you dine on wild-caught seafood, your pooch can choose from simple snacks like scrambled eggs, a bowl of kibble and bacon slices, to more filling fare like grilled chicken breast and mini burger patties. If she’s really been a good girl, treat her to the Good Dog Skirt Steak. At 16 “bones,” it’s more than double the cost of any other item, but we’re sure she deserves it.

Keep it coastal at The Inn at Mavericks, which features private fenced yards attached to every dog-friendly room.

Grizzly Peak Brewing Company

It’s not often that your pooch does a good deed while eating dinner, but Grizzly Peak Brewing Company’s “Pups on the Patio” menu isn’t just there to feed Fido. A portion of the proceeds from every doggie meal is donated to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Menu items include The Pup Patty, a cheeseburger on a house bun; the PB Dog, a kielbasa with peanut butter; and the Top Dog, a hanger steak over potatoes. If your pup is watching his weight, the Skinny Dog gives him a choice of salmon or chicken over rice, or if he’s just feeling peckish, Grizzly Peak also has dog-sized bacon snacks. Of course, the meal wouldn’t be complete without the Poochy Cream vanilla ice cream topped with peanut butter and a doggy treat. Each item on the menu comes with a complimentary Grizzly Peak dog dish.

Fido can take his dish back to Graduate Ann Arbor and enjoy a grand stay just minutes from the University of Michigan.

The Carrington

While humans dine on elevated pub fare like chicken schnitzel, buckwheat risotto, and even a fish & chip burger, four-legged Aussies can delight in one of the Doggo Meals at The Carrington like steak & veggies or beef tartare. Best of all, you and your mutt can enjoy your meal in the interior garden bar. The best time to take your canine companion to The Carrington is on Mother’s Day when all Doggo Meals are free.

Breathtaking views await guests who book water- or bridge-view rooms at The Sebel Pier One Sydney.

Fido can finish off his feast with gazpacho with watermelon, whipped cream and basil. Reservations for pet-friendly seating are available, and guests dining with pups are asked to enter through the "Doggy Door."

If you’re planning a visit to pet-friendly Sedona, call in at Creekside American Bistro. This much-loved local eatery overlooks Oak Creek and Sedona’s famous red rock formations from the welcoming Doggie Deck. The deck has its own canine menu sure to match your mutt’s expensive tastes, including a cheddar omelet with turkey jerky, steak tartare and venison stew. All dogs receive filtered, ice-cold water to wash down the meal. For a lighter snack, grab an order of chicken jerky cookies.

More treats and excellent service await four-legged guests at Sky Rock Inn of Sedona. Pups receive treats and a water bowl upon arrival. If you want to explore, hop on the property’s walking trail to Sedona Dog Park.

If you really want to impress your pup with a gourmet meal take her out to eat at Dogue, where dinner is all about her. This fine-dining dog restaurant doesn’t have human items on the menu, although all items are human-grade and will make your mouth water, too. Your canine culinary critic can taste pastries from the in-house “pawtisserie” and dine on French-inspired courses which use local organic ingredients. Choose from a variety of meat and seafood dishes on behalf of your furry companion like a chicken skin waffle or grass-fed steak. For dessert order a Parisian pastry and “dogguccino”.

After Fido’s meal, enjoy your own gourmet meal with views of the Bay Bridge at EPIC Steak, then retire for the night at the neighboring Harbor Court Hotel.
