Trail of a Hundred Giants This seasonally-accessible trail is located in the Giant National Sequoia Monument which is part of the Sequoia National Forest in Kernville, CA. The trail is open yearly from May to November and meanders through over 125 giant sequoias in the Long Meadow Grove. The estimated age of the trees here are estimated between 500 and 1,500 years old. Pets must be leashed and attended at all times. Please clean up after your pet. The trail is located about 45 miles northwest of Kernville. From Kernville, take State Mountain Road 99 north to Johnsondale. Go west on 50 to the Western Divide Highway turnoff. Go 2 miles to the Redwood Meadow Campground.
