Woodland Nature Trail

Woodland Nature Trail is an easy, 0.75-mile hike in Falls Lake State Recreation Area that will take about 40 minutes to complete with Fido. Make sure to pack some food to enjoy before or after your hike at Picnic Area 1, located right by the trailhead. This trail is bike free and offers beautiful color with blooming flowers in the spring and changing leaves in the fall. Sandling Beach is closed November 1 through March 15.
