Pinellas Trail Dunedin Florida is one of the most dog friendly towns you will ever want to visit with your furry friends. As you stroll through the downtown area, many cafes and bars have water bowls for Fido sitting on the patios. There is a huge mural painted on several store fronts depicting dogs that have belonged to folks living or vacationing in Dunedin. You can walk your dog along the Pinellas trail for miles and miles. There is a dog friendly beach on Honeymoon Island too. Even though the dogs on that beach have to be leashed, it is still a fun place to take them. The 555+ mobile home park where I have a winter home is one of the best and most dog friendly parks in the area. It is called Grand Bay Mobile Home Park. I walk out my back door and I am on the walking trail within minutes. The little town of Palm Harbor is also very dog friendly. See Details
Hammock Park Dogs are welcome at Hammock Park. This area of natural beauty contains pretty boardwalks that weave through the woods, a butterfly garden, a disc golf course, a comfortable picnic area, and a playground. Fido can join you on the boardwalks if they are on a leash under six feet and owners clean up any mess that they leave behind.
