Mirror Lake Mirror Lake is a great place to bring Fido when you're in Lake Placid. You can walk all the way around the lake on a 2.7 mile trail. Make sure you bring water and doggie clean-up bags, which are also available on the route around the lake. The water is absolutely clean and beautiful and we want to be sure this beach stays pet friendly forever! The beach is sandy and laid back and friendly dogs are welcome to take a dip with their owners as well. There's usually at least one of Marney's descendant's on the dock on any given day.
