Independence National Historical Park Independence National Historical Park is dog-friendly in its outdoor areas! While pets are not allowed inside of the buildings on Park grounds, they can take part in outdoor activities such as "Walk in Oney's Footsteps" at the President's House Site, and "Pose Like 'The Signer'" at Signers Garden. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet during the entirety of their visit to Independence National Historical Park. The Park operates daily from 9am to 5pm, though hours for certain facilities vary throughout the year. Most of the grounds are open twenty-four hours a day to pedestrians. Admission is free.
