Timber Creek Pooch Park 9 acre fenced dog park for off leash walking inside a 60 acre wooded park. Leashed dogs are allowed on the many trails throughout the area. There is a small lake they can swim in. Playgrounds, restrooms, picnic tables and benches throughout. Paved trails also. See Details

Veterans Memorial Park This 333 acre park was built in honor of Hamilton's veterans in 1977. Approximately four miles of walking trails are sprinkled through wooded areas, and there are more than two miles of paved bicycle trails, intermittent picnic grounds, rest stops, athletic fields, a large lake, huge tennis complex and a dog park. The dog park has a well maintained, fenced-in, off-leash play area. There is a separate enclosure for large and small dogs with double-entry gates. Both areas offer agility equipment and obstacle courses, benches, poop bags and trash receptacles. A doggie water fountain is just outside the dog park entrance.
