Duke's Dog Run at Freedom Park This huge, 20-acre dog park is a great place for your pet to exercise off-leash. The park has benches, parking, and a creek for pets to splash in. Just keep in mind that the park is not fully fenced. See Details
Veterans Memorial Park This 333 acre park was built in honor of Hamilton's veterans in 1977. Approximately four miles of walking trails are sprinkled through wooded areas, and there are more than two miles of paved bicycle trails, intermittent picnic grounds, rest stops, athletic fields, a large lake, huge tennis complex and a dog park. The dog park has a well maintained, fenced-in, off-leash play area. There is a separate enclosure for large and small dogs with double-entry gates. Both areas offer agility equipment and obstacle courses, benches, poop bags and trash receptacles. A doggie water fountain is just outside the dog park entrance. Working Dog Winery Working Dog Winery is a popular tasting room in central NJ. They welcome dogs outside between November 15th and March 15th every year. Dozens of customers bring their dogs with them during the weekends of these dates to enjoy the vast grounds and spend quality time with their four-legged friends. They also have a nationally recognized 5k run that benefits pet rescue every May, where both humans and dogs can run together for a good cause. This park is a bird watchers paradise, with lots of interesting species to be discovered, including bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, marsh hawks, ospreys, great blue herons, swans, screech owls, great-horned owls, bluebirds, hummingbirds, and more. There are a number of hiking trails around the park that you and your pooch can explore together, such as sections of the Batona Trail, a 50-mile trail that connects three different state forests.
