Pet Friendly Sebastian Inlet State Park
Sebastian Inlet State Park Sebastian Inlet State Park is dog-friendly. You may only have heard of the name of this park followed by gnarly or radical, because it's truly a surfer's paradise, but it's way more than just hanging ten on the Monster Hole. There are also pretty picnic areas located on both sides of the inlet that can be enjoyed by dogs and their owners. If you want to work off those Scooby Snacks, you can take a wander along the Hammock Trail, a mile-long nature trail that meanders along the fringe of the mangroves. You can even learn about the plants that surround you by reading the various signs. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the beaches or playgrounds, or in bathing areas, cabins, park buildings. The fee for entrance into the park is $8 per vehicle. Sebastian Inlet State Park is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. See Details
Pet Friendly Canova Dog Beach
Canova Dog Beach This 9.1-acre community beach park includes a small pavilion, grill, picnic shelter, benches along crossover, restrooms, drinking fountain and outside showers. One of the 3 dune crossovers is wheelchair accessible. Canova Beach Park is home to Brevard County's only dog-friendly beach. All dogs must be on a leash and must wear tags showing their current license and vaccinations. There is no cost to use the Dog Beach, however owners must pick up after their pets. Cocoa Beach Dogs are welcome on Cocoa Beach between 4th Street South and the north side of Murkshe Park. Waste disposal points are available at the pet-friendly entrance and owners are reminded to clean up after their pooch when visiting. Sebastian Bark Park Off leash play area offers lots of romping room, grassy areas, shade trees. Sally-port entries to a small and large dog separate fenced in areas. Park features handicap parking, drinking fountain, lake, benches, doggy bag dispensers, shade covered picnic tables and public restrooms. Also a walking trail around the lake along with a bridge across the lake. The parks overall size is currently 7½ acres. Small section is about a ½ acre and large section is about 2 acres. Dogs must be healthy, sociable, current on all vaccinations and license with tags on the collar, and under their owners control at all times.
