Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail The Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail is a hiker's dream and heaven for dog walkers. When it is completed, this pet-friendly trail will span 120 miles from Breaks Inter­state Park to Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. An ecological treasure, it currently offers visitors 42 miles of pristine hiking trails that weave around the varied and beautiful scenery of Kentucky. Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail is also a link in the the Great Eastern Trail, also known as GET, stretching from Alabama to New York over 1,800 miles through nine states.
