Florence Marina State Park The Florence Marina State Park rests on the northern edge of Lake Eufaula. Park visitors enjoy geocaching and a 3/4 mile nature trail. A boat ramp and dock are available with 66 boat slips available for rent at the marina. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet; however, they are not allowed in lodges, group camps, or swimming areas. For those interested in pet friendly accommodations, two select cottages allow up to 2 pets for an additional fee of $45. See Details

Providence Canyon State Park Dogs are welcome at Providence Canyon State Park. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy more than ten miles of trails that delve into Georgia's 'Little Grand Canyon'. The colorful canyons are an unusual natural phenomenon that are well worth the visit. If you don't fancy too much walkies, you can enjoy the picnic areas as well. Visitors are warned to be careful of the trails in certain weather as the ground can erode and become treacherous. Providence Canyon State Park is open September 15 through April 14 from 7am to 6pm and April 15 through September 14 from 7am to 9pm. Visitors will be charged a $5 parking fee. See Details
Chattahoochee Riverwalk (Columbus) The Chattahoochee Riverwalk (Columbus) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Columbus! Lakepoint offers a variety of amenities such as a full-service restaurant and lounge, marina, hiking trails, modern campground, swimming complex, tennis courts, and playgrounds. Hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, wildlife and bird watching, camping, dining, swimming pool, and picnic areas and playgrounds. Dogs are welcome in most parks as long as the dog is on a leash. Bike and horseback riding trails may not allow dogs for safety reasons. Dogs are not allowed in stores, food service areas, bathhouse, pool or swimming areas. Dogs can not be left unattended and will be confiscated if left in a hot car more than 30 minutes. See Details
