Pet Friendly Michael Crotty Bicentennial Park
Volusia County opened a four-acre dog park at Bicentennial Park in 2010. The dog park includes separate areas for large and small dogs, watering stations, benches and shade trees.
Pet Friendly North Peninsula State Park
North Peninsula State Park is pet-friendly. Unfortunately, Fido isn't welcome on the beaches, in any buildings, or in the water at this park, but they can still enjoy the bike path along State Road A1A or the two-mile Coastal Strand Trail, which, for the wildlife-lovers, is home to the gopher tortoise and the Eastern indigo snake. North Peninsula State Park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
Pet Friendly Central Park at Ormond Beach
Central Park at Ormond Beach is pet-friendly. Although not strictly a dog park, there are lots of trails to weave around with your pooch. The park is 149-acres in size, has a lake, a fishing pier, and lots of places to stop off and eat lunch along the trails. Central Park is open every day of the week from 8am to 6pm.
