Island Paws Island Paws is a dog park located in Put-in-Bay. This fenced, off-leash recreation space has water, a pavilion and plenty of space to run. Heineman Winery Heineman Winery is pet-friendly. The Heineman Winery was founded in 1888 by Gustav Heineman, an immigrant from Baden-Baden, Germany, the grape growing region. Dogs are not permitted inside the building, cave, or in the main wine garden. However, to the the side of the wine garden is another area where dogs are welcome. African Safari Wildlife Park African Safari Wildlife Park is pet-friendly. You are only permitted to bring a dog with you to the Park. Dogs must be on a leash in the Walk-Thru Safari, and in the Drive-Thru they cannot stick their head out the window and interact with any of the animals. Dogs must be under control of owner.
