The ride includes narrated stories of the Comstock Bonanza, the railroad's history, and how Virginia City used to be the richest city in the world. You'll pass 17 Bonanza mine sites and silver ore veins, and make a stop at Gold Hill where gold and silver strikes began in 1859. The train operates on weekends during the season from late May until October. Permission from conductor is required to bring Fido along.

Set in an industrial area of the city, this dog-friendly 35,000 square foot building has a comfortable temperature-regulated taproom as well as a warehouse which is set up for games.
