Overmountain Vineyards and Winery Tasting Room Leashed dogs are welcome inside this family-owned vineyard’s wine tasting room, which overlooks the Tryon foothills. You can purchase a sample tasting of their current-release wines, or buy them by the glass or bottle. They offer distinctive French-style whites and reds, which are all created primarily from 17 acres of their own estate-grown fruit. No outside alcohol is permitted and they don’t serve food, but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic to accompany the wine.
