Thousand Acres (Sandy River Delta)

The name says is all! Literally a thousand acres of off leash trails that lead to the sandy river where your dog can wade or swim. You can walk around for hours or just a little while, either way you and your dog will love it. It can be muddy at times due to Portland's frequent rain, but there is a main gravel trail that is ok for walking on even when its wet out. Take I-84 to exit 18, follow the road and cut back under 84, stay straight instead of getting on the on ramp and you will be in doggy heaven!

TA Troutdale

This gas station has a full-service restaurant open 24 hours, Country Pride, Popeyes, Subway and a Travel Store. This location also has a dedicated area for pets that need some exercise or a rest break. Waste bags and trash receptacles are also available for easy cleanup.
