Pet Friendly Twin Peaks Recreation Complex
Situated at the far end of the park (behind the senior center and near the garden), you'll find a hidden gem. Offering 2 fenced areas for small & large dogs, it also has a 3 height water fountain, picnic area, nice seating area, and doggy waste bags. There is plenty of parking.
Pet Friendly Hound Town Dog Park
Hound Town Dog Park is located on city property, adjacent to the Moreno Valley Equestrian Center. The 3.5-acre park has a 245-foot by 150-foot fenced-in dirt area divided into two sections. One part is for large dogs, the other for smaller breeds. The gate is double-fenced to prevent dogs from escaping as people enter and leave the play area. Only drawback is that there is no lighting once it is dark.
Pet Friendly Grays Peak Trail
Grays Peak Trail is a moderately easy, 7-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 3.5 hours to complete with Fido. This trail is on the north side of the lake and will actually lead you to the backside of the mountain where water views disappear. However, losing the view of the water is worth the peace, quiet, and open vistas that take its place.
Pet Friendly Hidden Valley Nature Center and Wildlife Preserve
10+ miles of trails along the Santa Ana River and in the surrounding hills. Leash required for most areas. Parking area available outside of gate, allowing for walks anytime. An additional, paved, 4+ mile bike trail is great for dog walkers with strollers and toddlers. Please note: this location only accepts cash. No debit or credit cards will be accepted.
