Pet Friendly Fonyód Dog Beach
Fonyód Dog Beach Fonyód Dog Beach is a long pet-friendly beach that stretches across the shore of Lake Balaton. It's a great place to take Fido to hang out with other pups, run in the sand, or take a dip in the water. This is the first dog beach on the lake and can be enjoyed for a fee of around 200 HUF. You and Fido can enjoy the beach from 6am to 10pm every day of the week. See Details
Pet Friendly Dog Holiday Kutyapanzió és Kutyanapközi
Dog Holiday Kutyapanzió és Kutyanapközi Dog Holiday Kutyapanzió és Kutyanapközi is a dog training center in Hetényegyháza. They welcome pets to stay with them on their private land in the middle of the forest. In addition to providing pets with somewhere to stay, the highly-trained staff will also train dogs who are boarding with them for an extra fee. The prices range between 2000 to 3000 HUF, depending on whether you want training and food as well as boarding. See Details
Balatonföldvár Dog Beach After the success of the pet-friendly dog beach in Fonyód, Balatonföldvár Dog Beach opened its gates for the public and their pets just down the road. This new dog beach contains over 8000 square foot of grass with plenty of space for playing and shaded areas for hot dogs to get out of the sun. You'll find a ramp to help dogs get in and out, and there's even a special toilet for dogs to use to keep the water and the surrounding areas clean. Pécs - Hirdi Kutyastrand Kutyastrand, located in the ancient city of Pécs near the Croatian border, is a picturesque, dog-friendly beach for pets and their owners to enjoy. The banks of the dog beach are lined with shaded picnic benches. All dogs can enjoy the water as it gradually slopes down into the water from the side, and less confident doggy paddlers can make use of the life jackets provided. Inner Lake of Tihany Tihany, a historic district of Hungary, is a village on the northern shore of Lake Balaton with a pet-friendly beach. Along with the Benedictine Tihany Abbey, which was founded in 1055 AD by András I, who is buried in the crypt, one of the draws for this area is the Tihany Inner Lake Beach. Wire Donkey Park & ​​Camping Wire Donkey Park & ​​Camping can be found on the banks of Lake Velence, the third largest lake in Hungary, located just southwest of Budapest. Dogs are welcome to join you on the beach at the campsite. They can bask in the shade while you take a dip in the warm water. Fans of music will be pleased to discover a number of concerts taking place at the campsite throughout the year. Dog Beach Dunakeszi This dog-friendly beach can be found near Horany Rév in Dunakeszi, on the shores of the famous Danube River. Sometimes in cities so close to the Budapest Metropolitan area it can be difficult to find a little respite, but that's exactly what you and Fido can find here on the Danube River. Dogs can paddle in the water and owners on the shore can cool down in the shade on warmer days, away from the noise of the city center. Additionally, you'll find snacks available next to the beach. Zalaegerszeg - Lake Gébárti Lake Gébárti in Zalaegerszeg, a city on the western side of Hungary, is a picturesque lake that locals refer to as a doggy bath. Upon arrival, you'll find signposts indicating how to get to Zalaegerszeg. Fido can leap into the water from the muddy beach or use one of the leaping spots to dive in and cool off on a hot day. Old Lake Lake Tata is found in Komárom-Esztergom county in Hungary. Dogs can enjoy the water in some parts of Lake Tata, including certain parts of the Old Lake. You'll find signs around the lakes that indicate where you can let Fido paddle. See Details
Zalalövő Amber Lake Located next to the Hungarian town of Zalalövő, Amber Lake is a dog-friendly lake with a beach for humans and dogs. Near the entrance to the lake path, you'll find a beach that allows dogs to play in the water and on the sand. You and Fido will have to pay a nominal fee to enter the area, but you can drive all the way up to the dog-friendly area once inside. See Details
Mancsos Paddling The River Tisza is one of the longest rivers in Europe, weaving through numerous nation's including Hungary. On the banks of the river, near Tiszafüred, pet owners will discover a stunning dog beach, known as Mancsos Paddling. Located in front of the bicycle park on the Morotva peninsula (Morotva Kerékpáros Pihenőpark) near the quiet backwater of the river Tisza, the dog-friendly area is 120-150 meters long and home to a 1000-1500 square meters of grass that dogs can use.
