Pet Friendly Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach, FL
Fort Clinch State Park is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on all of the hiking trails, nature trails, along the park drive, and in the camping areas at the park. One of the best parts of this state park is the six-mile trail around the fort and the surrounding wooded areas. Alternatively, you and Fido may enjoy the shorter hike, the Willow Pond Hiking Trail. This hike loops around a couple of pretty fresh water ponds. Unfortunately, pooches can't go inside any of the historic buildings on the site such as the fort. The fee to enter is $6 per vehicle and the park is open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.

Pet Friendly Big Talbot Island State Park in Jacksonville, FL
Big Talbot Island State Park is a pet-friendly island off the northeast coast of Florida. There's a huge variety of scenery to take in on the island and the best way to do this is on one of the many trails, such as the Blackrock Trail that will lead you and your pooch to the shoreline, the Big Pine Trail that will take your troop to the marshland, or Old Kings Highway and Jones Cut that takes in the beauty of the maritime forest. When you get tired of walkies, you can relax at one of the picnic areas on the island. There are lots of other hiking trails to enjoy on the island, as well as great fishing opportunities off the coast. Due to the carefully balanced eco-system and variety in wildlife, there may be some areas of the island that are off limits for Fido, so be sure to check with the park staff before your trip. The fee for entry onto Big Talbot Island State Park is $3 per vehicle. The park is open from 8am until sunset, but the boat ramp is open 24 hours a day.
