Historic Cold Spring Village is a dog-friendly historic site. Located at Cape May in New Jersey, this 22-acre, open-air, living-history museum features working crafts people in period costumes and 26 restored historic buildings. Dogs are welcome to join their owners at the park, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them. There's a brewery on the premises too. The village buildings will reopen in June 2019. The village office itself is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Corson's Inlet State Park
Corson's Inlet State Park is pet-friendly. This popular spot has lots of recreational opportunities for dogs and their owners, including hiking, fishing, crabbing, boating and sunbathing. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches at Corson's Inlet and unfortunately, they are not allowed April 1st to September 15th in any area of Corsons. Dogs must be on a leash for the duration of their visit and all mess should be cleaned up after them.

Belleplain State Forest
Belleplain State Forest is dog-friendly. The park is full of diverse hiking trails that you can explore with your four-legged friend. Lake Nummy is the centerpiece of the park, an ideal spot for some recreational boat use and hanging by the water. You and your pooch can stay a little longer at one of the pet-friendly campsites located in the Meisle Field camping area and the CCC camping area. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash under six feet and all mess is cleaned up after them. The park is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.

Leashed dogs are allowed Cape May Parks to include Park East, Park South and Park North following these rules:
Dog Requirements
• Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6’ at all times
• Dogs must wear collars displaying legal licenses at all times
• Dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations
• Dogs with a history of dangerous and/or aggressive behavior are prohibited
Other Rules
• Dogs must not dig holes, chase or harm wildlife, damage Park property, or interfere with other visitors
• Dogs displaying aggressive behavior must be removed by their handler from the Park immediately
• Dog handlers use the Park at their own risk, and the County of Cape May shall not be liable for any injury
or damage
• All incidents and injuries must be reported immediately to the Cape May County Park by
contacting (609) 465-5271.
