Located at Cape May in New Jersey, this 22-acre, open-air, living-history museum features working crafts people in period costumes and 26 restored historic buildings. Dogs must be leashed on the beach itself, but the nearby dog park is leash-free. Fresh water is only available inside of the park, not on the beach.
