Santa Barbara City College From the East to the West side of the campus there is a trail that runs along the cliff sporting a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, harbor and beaches. On the West side of the campus there is a grassy area where a whole pack of well socialized dogs and friendly owners meet every Saturday morning and many weekday evenings.
If you are visiting SB and staying at any of the pet-friendly hotels in West Beach you simply cross Castillo St. , walk through the park and towards the road that winds up the hill toward City College (on the left of the tennis courts), stay to the left and look for the gardens that hug the cliffs, enjoy that little walk and then (unfortunately) you have to walk past the stadiums in the parking lot to get to the pedestrian bridge that will take you to the West Campus, the bridge opens up to a big grassy area with path on the left and (typically) lots of friendly playful doggies. Enjoy!
